Bournemouth Daily Echo features Kingston and the Scott Arms

The village of Kingston – including your favourite pub, the Scott Arms – has been featured in an article in the Bournemouth Daily Echo as a Dorset village “worth visiting”. The article, written by journalist Carlo Simone and published on 26 October, provides a potted history of the “pretty, rural village” with its “fantastic” views of Corfe Castle. It adds: “The village is dotted with traditional cottages built of the local Purbeck stone, a local church and a popular village pub.

Understandably the Scott Arms is given prominence and the article pulls lots of information and quotes from this very website. It also features a video from the Scott Arms Instagram feed as well as some effusive Google reviews from happy customers. The piece adds; “One aspect of the pub that will likely appeal to visitors is the views over to Corfe Castle from its large beer garden.”
