Blues Night
Head over to the Scott Arms on Friday 6 March for our Mad March Blues Night’. We will be presenting local bluesman Jono Rowland at 6:30pm followed by an infectious blend of Blues, Jazz and Soul from FeverStreet from 8pm.

FEVERSTREET
FeverStreet was formed in 2018 by three comrades who have been performing together in other guises for over three years. Their eclectic and infective mix of Jazz, Blues, Gospel and Soul are performed to soothe the psyche and inflame the fervour to kick up your heels.
Founder FeverStreeters, Bruce ‘Scamp-possessed’ Griffin – piano man; Dave ‘Grand rhythms’ George – perfect percussion and Rachel ‘Medicinal kook’ Murray lead vocals, were joined in 2023 by Lizzie ‘He’s called Burt’ Barnes on tip-top double bass.
FeverStreet has had the joy of sharing the stage with some of the South West’s top Jazz musicians. They are passionate that their music is performed with authenticity and the occasional generous dose of pandemonium: perfect for a Mad March Blues Night!

Jono Rowland
Jono Rowland is an exciting up-and-coming blues musician from the Wareham Delta. Having been on the open mic scene for the past 15 years or so doing his time, Jono finally took the leap to start learning slide in January 2024 and has been riding the wave ever since.
Playing a mix of slide and finger style on acoustic guitar, Jono plays old time delta and country blues plus a few surprises and ‘new ones’ for good measure. With three consecutive billed appearances at the renowned Swanage Blues Festival in the past two years plus gigs across the county in various bars, pubs and festivals, Jono’s wave is still rolling.
