required at the scott
We are looking to employ both full and part time staff. Essentially the role will be front of house: bar work, waiting tables, some housekeeping, room bookings, etc. However, flexibility is desirable as we all work as a team to ensure all aspects of the pub run smoothly. Experience is preferable but not essential as training can be provided to the right candidates. Hours will include weekends and some evenings. So whether you are looking for a full time role or just aiming to top up your spending money, please send your cv to info@thescottarms.com.
Applicants must be 18 or over.

scott arms in the
times' 'best country
pubs for food'!
It seems your favourite pub is also rated by the food critics at The Times, who have featured it in their Best 25 Country Pubs for Food 2014! It's a wonderful accolade, made even more special by being the top choice of Tony Turnbull, the Times' Food Editor. We were the only pub from Dorset to be featured in the list and the Jerk Shak barbecue also got a mention. Why not see what all the fuss is about and pay us a visit?

camra good beer
guide 2015
We are featured in the Campaign for Real Ale's Good Pub Guide 2015 for the second consecutive year. The GPG is completely independent with listings based entirely on nomination and evaluation by CAMRA members. This means you can be sure that every one of the 4,500 pubs deserves their place, plus they all come recommended by people who know a thing or two about good beer!
